When to Use this Feature
We always recommend scheduling irrigations in the Ops Center for the best control and data integrity, but you may choose to send an open or close command when:
You need to immediately open a valve remotely and don't wish to schedule an irrigation
A valve is open in Manual Mode and you wish to close it remotely
A valve has unexpected flow and you wish to close it remotely
How to Use this Feature
Navigate to the Valve in Devices
In the left-hand navigation panel, select Management > Devices.
Use the filter options at the top of the Devices page to find the valve you wish to open or close.
Identify the correct valve by the block identifier and click the pencil icon on the right-hand side of the screen to edit.
Select Actions at the top of the Device Details panel.
Remotely Open a Valve
Click the dropdown under Valve Status and select "Open."
Determine when you want the valve to close and set the End Date and End Time.
Click Apply.
Remotely Close a Valve
⚠️ Important: Always return to the Dashboard and check Activity to confirm the valve has opened or closed per your selection.
